To ensure your privacy and comfort, please:

  • Choose a quiet, private area where you feel safe speaking freely
  • Ensure you have a stable internet connection
  • Use headphones if needed for added discretion

Your therapist will use encrypted platforms and make every effort to protect the confidentiality of your session. Clients are responsible for maintaining their own private space during sessions.

Technical Issues

If a session is disrupted due to technical difficulties, please contact your therapist via phone. You may agree to:

  • Resume the session
  • Continue by phone
  • Reschedule at a later time

Emergencies

Psychotherapy Dublin is not a crisis service. In the event of a psychological or medical emergency, please contact your GP, local A&E, or emergency services.

Each practitioner will have their own process for managing high-risk situations. Please discuss this directly with your therapist if needed.
