About us
Since 2014, Psychotherapy Dublin has been a place where people come to speak about what troubles them — not just to manage symptoms, but to explore the deeper questions that suffering can reveal. Founded with a strong orientation in psychoanalytic thinking, our clinic was created to prioritise the individuality of each person who walks through the door.
Opening a Space for What Matters
Since 2014, Psychotherapy Dublin has been a place where people come to speak about what troubles them — not just to manage symptoms, but to explore the deeper questions that suffering can reveal. Founded with a strong orientation in psychoanalytic thinking, our clinic was created to prioritise the individuality of each person who walks through the door.
Over the years, we’ve grown from our first premises in Ranelagh to beautiful clinic spaces in Fitzwilliam Square, Merrion Square, and Wicklow Town. Our aim has always been to provide a space where the pace, direction, and focus of therapy are set by the person who comes to speak — never rushed, never standardised.
At Psychotherapy Dublin, symptoms are not seen as problems to be silenced. Instead, we approach them as meaningful, as something to be read and understood in the context of each person’s unique life. This is the guiding principle of our work.
What we can do for you
Located in Dublin city center, our practice offers a confidential and welcoming setting for those ready to engage in the work of analysis. If you are curious about what psychoanalysis might offer you, we invite you to take the first step and reach out.
While our roots are in psychoanalytic practice, we are expanding our scope to include complementary services such as coaching and stress management, always with the same commitment to treating each person as singular. Every therapeutic relationship is tailored, recognising that no two paths are alike.
Our team includes highly trained clinicians, all working at a master’s level or under close mentorship as they progress through their training. We are proud to offer therapy in multiple languages, including English, Greek Hebrew, and Spanish. Each therapist is self-employed, deeply engaged in continuous learning, and committed to providing attentive, thoughtful care.
Located in central Dublin and Wicklow, our clinics offer a private, calm, and high-end environment where people can speak freely. Whether in person or online, the experience is designed to feel welcoming, human, and professional — a space where judgment is set aside, and listening is at the heart of what we do.
As we continue to grow, our vision is to make this way of working available to more people across Ireland — not only through in-person clinics but also through online therapy, ensuring that anyone, no matter where they live, can access thoughtful and attentive care.
At Psychotherapy Dublin, there are no assumptions. Just an invitation to speak — and to be heard.
Our core values
Every person who comes to speak brings a unique story, with no ready-made solutions. We believe in meeting each person where they are, allowing the pace, the questions, and the work itself to be guided by their singular experience.
We do not see symptoms as problems to be “fixed” or erased. Instead, we listen to them as messages — signals that something is asking to be heard. Our work is not about offering quick techniques, but about creating the space to explore what lies beneath.
Rather than offering surface-level coping strategies, we aim to engage with the deeper structures of suffering. This is a space to open things up, not to reduce experience to labels or diagnoses.
All of our therapists hold a Master’s level qualification or are closely supervised while in advanced training. Our team is committed to ongoing learning and professional development, ensuring that the highest level of care is offered in every encounter.
We strive to create an environment that feels calm, private, and thoughtfully designed. From the high-quality clinic spaces to the way we work, we aim to combine professionalism with a deeply human approach.
We work with adults, children, adolescents, couples, and families, welcoming a diversity of backgrounds and experiences. With therapists practicing in multiple languages, we aim to make our services as accessible as possible — both in-person and online.
Our vision is to bring this approach to more people across Ireland, expanding thoughtfully while staying true to the values that guide our work: respect for singularity, careful listening, and depth.
